Clues

I appreciate a good clue at the right moment. It’s probably why I read every mystery book I could get my hands on as a child. The clues I’m speaking of, though, are the ones that arrive just on time, providing an idea for a next step when the path seems hidden.

It’s always fun looking back on where clues come from.  A book that falls off the shelf, a random conversation with a stranger, a flash of insight, a dream, the feeling tone of a place… the possibilities are endless.

I tend to receive my clues when I let go of fear, surrender to not knowing, and stay open. This leads me to believe that clues may always be enveloping me, but if I’m not in that receiving state, I am unable to see them.  That leads me to this moment now. I am presently open to what may be next. Is it a new place to live? Does a new book need expression?  Am I in need of adventures of a different kind? I am consciously making space for the clues to present themselves, and this leaves me excited! A new chapter beckons.

What clues have been hovering around you? What do you think their message is?
